It takes a village...
I'm learning a lot as I go, creating my first ever musical (and trying it solo!), but I have a lovely team and amazing support as I do.
Between the Bars theatre company are producing the initial workshops and development in my home turf of Cambridgeshire.
And since Oct 2024 I have been a beneficiary of Mercury Creatives, a professional development programme for the cultural sector. As part of my engagement on this programme, I am currently undergoing 8 hours of mentoring support, alongside attending a series of business development, showcasing and networking events with fellow Mercury Creative beneficiaries. The Mercury Creatives programme is funded by Arts Council England, Essex County Council and Tendring District Council and is being delivered by the Mercury Theatre, Colchester.
I am also a proud Mercury Musical Developments member. What a phenomenal organisation!
