Dragon Heir - chapter #39

Late again! Eeep. I've had a lovely couple of days showing the wonderful Amy Hadley (Fool's Gold, Madame Xanadu) around Cambridge...so much so that I'm late with this update! I'm so sorry *bow*

But it's here now! Complete with a very cut down first page - which is part of a larger double-page spread that you guys will get to experience for real in the printed version. This was the best way I had of showing it for the web version, but hopefully you get the idea!

Blimey! I was just innocently browsing the internet a moment ago; now It's suddenly dark outside, and I appear to have read through 39 chapters of some comic called Dragon Heir. I'm scared.

Okay, granted, it was dusk when I started reading, so it wasn't that dramatic. Still a great read though; I liked it a lot (obviously, since I don't think I would've read a few hundred pages in one sitting otherwise). I find the story quite charming, yet intriguing. Plus the artwork is quite awesome, and that can't possibly be a bad thing.

Anyway. I was wondering - when you say print, and book (as in an earlier post), I assume that would entail a 2nd graphical novel in the same vain as the 1st one (basically a compilation of issues 7 to something). Or would any of the redone artwork be involved in any way?

Keep up the good work!

haha! Hi Bill ^_^ I'm sorry for stealing your evening away from you....we can blame Verance ^_~
What lovely comments though - thank you!
The new book will be the 'reborn' version. So it will literally be what you've just read up to the end of issue 9 (in a few weeks time) in print. It will also be plate printed rather than digital, so I'm quite excited. Should be a beast at around 250 pages.

Wow you really do have a good narrative going Emma! I love the idea of all the dark spirits being absorbed by one being! Also I'm really looking forward to buying Dragon Heir when it comes out!
